INTRODUCTION TO ARTISTIC SKATING

FUNDAMENTALS

After passing our learn to skate program, our next level is Fundamentals!  Your skater will learn all the basic jumps, spins, and tricks needed for competitive skating.  They will even be able to compete in local beginner friendly competitions!

FUNDAMENTALS 1

GREEN STATION

In this level, skaters begin to really dive into one foot jumps!  Since we are working more power elements, this level contains a 50 minute on skates lesson.

BLUE STATION

In this level, skaters begin to really dive into one foot jumps!  Since we are working more power elements, this level contains a 50 minute on skates lesson, as well as 35 minute off skaters for power training. Saturdays 8:20 - 8:55 off skates, and 9 - 10 am on skates.

RED STATION

In this level, skater progress into more complete jumps and spins, as require more practice.   This level contains a 50 minute on skates lesson, 35 minute off skaters for power training. Saturdays 8:20 - 8:55 off skates, and 9 - 10 am on skates.  In addition, this includes an open practice session Sundays from 9:00 - 11:00 am.

ROOKIE DIVISION

In this level, skater progress continue on the same training path as level 3, but with more complex skills.   This level contains a 50 minute on skates lesson, 35 minute off skaters for power training. Saturdays 8:20 - 8:55 off skates, and 9 - 10 am on skates.  In addition, this includes an open practice session Sundays from 9:00 - 11:00 am.
